Steve Cole
Steve Cole is one of our premiere Pro Instructors whom we are so excited to have on our Playcay Pro Roster. Steve's professional accomplishments are both impressive and lengthy. Born in Daytona Beach Fl, where he Coached Youth Sports until moving to Las Vegas NV in the spring of 1997. He worked professionally for 36 years in the retail Pharmacy Sector and in 2017 he retired. Another personal accomplishment was when he married Denise Marie Cole, his beautiful wife, in 2014. 2014 was a big year. That was when he met another love of his life, Pickleball. In the Spring of 2014, he became a 5.0 player within 4 months of playing and practicing daily. In 2016 he played his first Pro Tournament and won Gold. Since then, he has won over 120 Pro/5.0 Tournaments including; 6 National Championships, 5 U.S. Opens, and 13 World Senior Games. In 2019 he became a Certified Pickleball Instructor, IPTPA. He became a Pro Instructor at the Plaza Hotel and Casino in 2019. Steve has taught over 4000 players how to play and has done many Camps, Clinics, and Private and Group lessons throughout the USA, Canada, and Mexico. It is really exciting to see him grow Playcay athletes and we are excited to have him on board!
